Caily's snowsuit from the Kirby's.

Carol and Roy Kirby gave Caily this adorable snowsuit at her shower last January.  I’m sad to say it’s gotten cold enough for her to wear it to school – just the jacket so far.  The pants are still hanging up waiting for snow.    It’s amazing & it fits perfectly.   How did they know it would fit her?   I guess it’s all the experience they have with their own brood of grandchildren. Caily's first Halloween

It was a great day. She went to school in her horse costume but donned the
bee for the big night. We went to nana and deedee's for tomato soup and
grilled cheese (a Lemmex family tradition) then hit a few houses on our
street. She was shy at the first one, but once she figured out she'd get
cool wrappers in her bucket she was all in. My challenge was keeping her
out of people's houses once they opened the door.

I think the highlight of her night was giving the candies at home. We were
home by 6:30 and had the pumpkin carved and lights up by 6:45. She loved it
- but thought the pumpkin tongue was gross (hahaha). She would run up and
down the driveway pulling kids in. She'd buzz around and put the "presents"
in their bags. It was adorable. I wish I had pictures of her face when the
creepy teenagers came up. She wasn't scared, but you could hear her wheels
turning. Too funny.

The great debate

Does she go out for Halloween as a horse or a bee? She picked out the
horse costume (of course) but mommy found a bee later (which is her favorite
bug)... oh tough choices for a baby...

Decision: She wore the horse to school and the bee trick-or-treating....
ok, she wore the bee all day Saturday and the horse all day Sunday too...

It’s a beautiful coat.  Can’t wait to dress her up in it.    ( Is it just me or does she look she’s pimped her ride???)

One minute she'd helping me make pumpkin pies, the next minute I hear her
hitting something. I look around the corner and see this. I split a gut
laughing. That's my girl....

A day at the farm

A few weeks ago Caily and I went to Pinto Valley Ranch for her Sunday pony
ride (yes she's obsessed with "neighs" already). At PV she got to meet lots
of other animals. She loved it - especially the "piggies." We almost ended
up with a pot-belly baby...
