Caily meets Santa

We just happened to stop at Hazeldeen Mall when Santa was there. She was
excited to see him, but didn't want to get on his knee... As we were going
over the day before bed she said "no like Santa. Santa little bit creepy!"
no word of a lie. I howled. I must have said that sometime today. Too
funny.

She did agree that it was "very nice" of him to give her a candy cane and
she did say thank you to Santa again before going to bed. So maybe next
year he'll be less creepy... She asked for a piano and a "mommy brella"
(umbrella for mommy)

Caily's snowsuit from the Kirby's.

Carol and Roy Kirby gave Caily this adorable snowsuit at her shower last January.  I’m sad to say it’s gotten cold enough for her to wear it to school – just the jacket so far.  The pants are still hanging up waiting for snow.    It’s amazing & it fits perfectly.   How did they know it would fit her?   I guess it’s all the experience they have with their own brood of grandchildren. J    Thanks so much from both of us…. xoxo
