This was amazing. She walked over and plopped herself on the surf board just as you see it – perfectly… I took her out for a little paddle and she loved it!!! this girl never ceases to amaze me.

Clayton hanging his photo on the Lemmex wall of Fame - Yeah Clayton!!!
Until April, Clayton was the last Lemmex in three generations to have his graduation picture hung on the wall. It was a proud day for all of us to see that blank space filled.
It will be 16 more years before the newest “Lemmex” gets her picture on the wall. Note: I think we need a new wall – this one is full… J
(See Caily in Jeremi’s arms – wearing the new yellow Pooh dress that she and Jon bought her)…
Caily celebrating Clayton's graduation
hoo baby C note). Caily was ecstatic to see Jeremi and met her cousin
Chrissy for the first time. She also built a special bond with Clayton as
she tried desperately to walk in his shoes. Even though they are big shoes
to fill, he helped her walk until she could do it on her own. what a great
metaphor.
It does a mother good to watch her extended family fall in love with her
little girl and know in her heart that this child will be loved throughout
her years by such good people.

And it begins... "She rides like she was born on a horse"
time she's spent on Fergus??? Ha ha ha... She sure loved this. Amazing for
her age. "That's my girl!"
Making Friends on Canada Day
But true to form, the animals stole her heart!
Hey!!! Happy Canada Day! Whoo hoo
Caily’s first Canada Day – we spent the morning at Andrew Haydon Park and the afternoon at our good friend’s Scott, Kristen, Josh, Erica and Madeline’s house. Scott’s annual sangria Canada Day was fantastic (as usual). Caily met a lot more of the “leaves” on her extended family tree and loved every one of them. Lots of proud mommy moments for sure!
waiting for her prince?
Naaa – she’ll know that happy ever after does not require a white knight on horseback. Just a good education, great friends and a family who loves and supports her drive to be the mistress of her own happiness. Hopefully mommy’s experiences will save her a lot of unnecessary heart-ache and time wasted waiting for “a prince” to make everything ok. Happy ever after is inside this precious little one – not waiting on the outside of her “bouncy”
